When I was 6 my parents bought a house in a nice town. Our house was very big it had 3 bedrooms on the upper floor and a big living room and kitchen. Our stairs to the upper level were close to the living room and kitchen so you would be able to see the stairs. Anyways after my family moved in everything seemed normal until about two months later.Money was tight so my parents started taking extra shifts.I barely ever saw my mom because she used to go to work at 6:00 in the morning and come home at 11:00. Plus my dad did'nt want us staying up so late, so I used to pretend to go to sleep and when my mom would come I would always know because for some reason her keys had a certain jingle. This went on for a week and then one night I heard the certain jingle and went into the hall to see if my mom was there and got freaked because she wasn't. I convinced myself I was just hearing things. I thought that was all until... one night when it was raining really hard and there was alot of thunder.I couldn't sleep so I just laid awake. Then I saw an old lady carrying something looking straight at me.I was so scared and hid beneath the covers for a while.I got up and woke my brother up(since we shared a room, because my parents had a room, and my grandparents had their own)my brother got annoyed and went back to sleep.I never told anyone until now about what happened. Nothing serious happened until 2 years later after my parents got divorced.I was home alone cause my brother and my mom went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. There was nothing good on tv so I just turned it off and stayed sitting.I looked to the second floor and saw a lady(she looked like she was from a long time ago because of the way she was dressed)carrying a baby.I panicked and ran outside and stayed there until my mom came back. When I was 10 we moved out of that house and only after did my mom mention that a lady was murdered in my roombecause after my parent's got divorced I got my grandparents old room-the room the lady got murdered in.I wonder how the people living there now are coping.
