My mother lives in this gorgeaous house here in Salem,Indiana and the house freeks me out. I'm afraid to even go to my moms house sometimes thats how scary it is. Well heres my story. When I lived with my mom I had some really scary ghost experiences. Once I was at home by my self. My mother and stepfather were shopping and my three sisters were at their friends house just a few blocks away. Well I sitting on the couch next to the door with the door wide open because the house gives the creeps. Well anyways I was sitting on the couch reading a book when I heard a silent cough. I thought maybe my mom was back because it sounded like her and I heard it coming from outside or at least I thought I did so I got up looked outside and there was nobody out there. I went back and sat down then 2 min. later I heard the same cough again. This time I heard coming from the basement so I wlaked towards the basement and asked if any one was there. The response I got back was a woman telling me to run "for dear life, stay up stairs or my husband will kill you, he has a gun." About that time I saw a ghost figure of a man walking up the basement steps towards me. I started screaming and ran all the way to where my sisters were at leaving the door open behind me. I was scared to sleep in that house after that so about a month later I moved in with my dad and I have never slept in that house again. I only go over there to visit but I never stay long because the house gives me the creeps.
