My Story: Hi guys!! This is athena here again... This is not actually a story but a guide of somesort on wicca and witchcraft....

Well, after reading Lestari's article on witchcraft on page 3... i felt a bit disturbed.

Anyway, from what i read, she gets her facts all wrong and its kinda hurting u know, to have someone insulting what u believe in. I am a witch, a real witch who believes in her religion. Wicca(witchcraft) is a Earth religion and it is based on a deep respect for nature and the knowledge that we does not use spells and magick for our own gains. It is important that u note that the magick we uses are all natural..there is nothing supernatural about it. It comes from deep within us. It is not based on a pact with the detrvil nor is it a good way to seek revenge on enemies or former lovers. Wiccans does not believe in making use of the power to bring harm, to injure or to control others. The Phrase "An it harms None, do what ye will" is applied here. *translation: if it doesn't harm anyone, do what u want"

We does not believe in the devil..satanism is based on the history of christianty, not witchcraft. In fact, most Wiccans does not even believe in satan. The fact where people says that witches worship satan was propounded by the roman-catholic church as it made its way across Europe, so that to suppress the native earth-based religions prevalent at that time. They succeeded to the extent that they drove these witches underground where by much of the traditions and religions were lost. Thus, making these long standing misunderstanding about witchcraft.

Well, i hope that after reading this basic guide to wicca and witchcraft, there would not be any discriminations or soever. Wicca is just like another religion...like islam or buddhism Anyway, if theres anyone who wants to find out more or are fellow wiccans, plz email me. :p
