Two years ago my 85 year old aunt decided she needed a new car. She shopped very carefully until she had decided on a ford Taurus. The list price was several thousands more than she had budgeted on her fixed income but through a VERY positive attitude and shrewd bargaining she agreed on a satisfactory price. A few days later when she picked up the car she decided to take it out to the cemetery to show her husband (Uncle Johnny) who had passed away rather suddenly about 6-7 years ago. She said she parked close to the gravesite and went over to the plot where she pulled a few weeds and told Johnny all about the new car purchase.
After a few minutes of meditation she went back to the car and was driving out of the cemetery grounds when a car passed and someone waved and beeped their horn. She didn't recognize the driver immediately and continued on home. A couple of days later my aunt met her friend in the supermarket and the friend said she was going into the cemetery when they passed in their cars. The friends question was: "Who was that man in the brown suit that was in the car with you when you were leaving the cemetery?" My aunt answered, " It must have been Johnny since I had just told him all about the car and he must have wanted to see how it rode."
Uncle Johnny was buried in a brown suit and there was nobody visible to my aunt in the car with her but, she said that she always feels his presence when she talks to him even though she can't see him.
My aunt is the most HONEST person that I have ever known. She would NEVER lie or joke about a subject that was this serious and real.
