Poem

Rain

Warm summer night
Clouds together, snug and tight.
The breeze blows,
The tree flows,
A flash cuts across the sky
I watch out the window as I lie.
The water hits the grass,
And bounces off the glass.
Still I watch in complete solitude
Wondering how nature could become so rude,
Just at the time I am down and blue,
In my calamity, of being without you.
