Poem

Away

He chases me,
Takes the shade from me,
And sings my song.
But it always brings me back,
Never lets me pull free,
Weak but strong,
That is what we are.
Forward and back,
That's where we've gone,
Always falling apart.

Does desertion follow me,
Whereever I belong.
And if I found my way,
As the sun hit the sky,
Back to you, could you have blamed me?
If I couldn't stay when I began to wonder why,
When the moon embraced you eyes,
And I couldn't tell you why,
Couldn't tell you why,
Couldn't tell you why...
