Poem

My Secret Lover

Deep in the night
where no man ever dwells
My secret lover comes
casting wonderous spells

Softly he whispers
indescribable words
Tauntingly dangerous
things I have never heard

With pounding heart
every breath escapes
Waiting for the slightest touch
a kiss or warm embrace

Oh, secret lover
from afar
You have taken my soul
to heights unexplored
