Help me Find the Love

Bent over and crippled I sit in my chair.
Old and antique with soft silver hair.
I relive the days when I was young and carefree,
Wanting the girl that I used to be.

The one that loved you more than I could say.
Helping you to overcome all the gray.
Do you remember, it's seems so long ago?
When we held each other, when I loved you so.

The years have gone by and weakened the power.
I feel the love fade with each passing hour.
I don't understand it we said we'd never fall,
Out of the love that stood so tall.

Now days go by and though you are there,
You're miles away and free from care.
I sit here all broken and watch in dismay.
As death closes in, day after day.

Young and so foolish we thought we were forever.
That we could withstand loves darkest weather.
Now that I know I wish I could fly,
Back to those days of just you and I.

When we were together in love and carefree.
Baby, come back, oh, please come back to me.
We've grown old and wrinkled, but we still have that power,
To rekindle the love that has recently grown sour.

Old and crippled I sit in the night.
Reaching out for you... help me turn ON the light.
