I knew this boy who was my best friend,
I did'nt know one day it would end,
He was there for me when I was in need,
No matter what he never feld to succeed,
He picked me up when I was feeling down,
He never let my smile become a frown,
Then cancer took away his life,
It caused a lot of sorrow and stife,
Everytime I look to the sky,
I stop to question the Lord Why,
Then I picture his smiling face,
and realize Heavens a much better place.
