Moving on

Next year we'll be in high school
And as I look back to the previous years
I think....everything will be different, we might be uncool
And even though I try, I cant hold back the tears

Remember when we laughed so hard
That we started to cry?
Right there in the schoolyard?
I dont even remember why

We had so much fun
Hanging out and messing around
Shooting each other with a squirt gun
Its hard to believe we're high school bound

Now on a more serious note
We were there for whoever needed us
Whether they lost an election by a vote
Or they faced a day with no kindness

But not everything is over
We can make memories that are new
The guys will be cuter
And we'll have a later curfew

So..high school, here we come
The group of friends that will last always
We will remain together, no matter the outcome
Whether we'll end up writing screenplays
or driving on raceways
