Joan Valerie Oreilly
Poem

Cello

He captivated my soul in sleep
His cello voice could make me weep
His symphony played right to my heart
In dreams we'd share; awake, we'd part

The sweetest sound of the violin
Could make it all begin again
The conductor would tap, the orchestra play,
I close my eyes and drift away
