Poem

Sweet Love

We light some candles,
close the door,
say I love you,
then say no more
we slowly lay down and take off our clothes
you smile at me as I lean up to kiss your cheek,
we make sweet love all night long,
you look at me steady and strong
as you lay beside me,
I think for a moment, close my eyes,
and turn to my side,
and there we lay in eachothers arms,
breathing so sweetly,loving so long
as you hold me so dear,so tight, and so strong,
I know this moment,
I will have to hold on.
I put my head upon your chest,
and listen to your heartbeat beat its best
you wrap your arms around my stomach,
all I hear is you breathe as I drift of to sleep to dream.
