Touch My Dreams

Warm summer night, invade this dreamer's shrine
with silvered kisses gifted by the moon,
new minted, they caress the velvet pine
then pass to other phantom loves, too soon.

Enchanted night that weaves a shadowed spell
among the latticed boughs, amid the glades,
arouse my love to join me where you dwell,
to kiss my lips before your magic fades.

Then will his wayward heart become my own
forever more,because your sorcery
has worked its charm, and when I am alone
he still will be my love...in absentee.

Warm summer night, infuse the moon's pale beams
into my slumbering, and touch my dreams.
