Prophets Of Hate

Who are these noisy prophets of hate
Who wait inside of Christ's own gate,
There to congregate and to debate?
Their intent hidden as they obfuscate,
Plotting their will on man to perpetrate.
Some they fascinate as they fabricate,
Holding truth to be of low estate,
Lies proliferate, His way to negate.

Prophets of hate wearing gowns of white
Signifying truth, purity, and the right,
Claims of bearing witness to the Light
The emotions of the neophyte to excite.
Out of darkness these minions of night
Are to freedom a menace of great fright.
In manner erudite they assert a divine right,
As their deceit they recite to proselyte.

God's message is of love and not of hate,
Serenity He gives to all who upon him wait.
Between man and his God, Christ came to mediate,
Barriers to eradicate, fellowship to rehabilitate.
These who claim His name inside His own gate,
Their kinship exaggerate, and they do not hesitate
To subjugate His word to their own postulate,
And they become prophets with hate to propagate.
