Love Drops

Where Have All the Love Drops Gone?
As We Knew When We Were Young
Like When Mommy Sang Us Lullabies
And Daddy Sang Us Songs

Why Did We Have to Grow Up?
And Why Can't We Go Back?

Where Have All the Love Drops Gone?
Back When All the Songs Were Sung
Ok Children, Time for Bed
Drink Water, If Your're Dry

Close Your Eyes and Listen
As I Sing this Lullaby
I Remember When I Was Young
I Can Still Hear the Songs Mommy Sung

As Clear as If I Was Still There
And I Even Remember Where
The Lights Were Dim and I Would Hear
Daddy Come in Just as Clear

Pull the Covers over Me
And with a Kiss See You Tomorrow Dear
Where Have All the Love Drops Gone?
I'm Sure They're Not Gone for Good

The Lord Said Seek and Yea Shall Find
I Did and I Found Mine
Went to See My Son Today
Also Seen the Children at Play

Drank Some Tea and a Little Rum
Got up to Leave When I Was Done
The Children Came as I Went by
A Kiss, a Hug and a Sweet Goodbye

We Love You and Please Come Back
As They Turned and Ran off Clickety Clak
The Love Drops Are Not Gone, They're Here to Stay
For Me and Mine, Not Gone, No Way
