Is there rhyme or reason
defining nature's way?
As change adorns each season
in colorful array.
The grace of God's creation
is magnified by spring,
as trees and flowers blossom
the birds and angels sing.
The fertile earth rejoices
as summer joins the play,
to sanctify the harvest
that feeds all life each day.
Hear autumn's chilly whisper,
the trees have heard the sound,
as leaves are bathed in glory
before they touch the ground.
Winter's holy blanket
is honor bound to keep
autumn, spring, and summer
safely fast asleep...
