Poem

Lost In Play

It happened many years ago
Our son was only three
One day he wanted us to play
A bear for me to be

Down I lowered on all fours
And growled into his ears
Instead of laughing full of glee
He broke right out in tears

The game to him became too real
And that had made him cry
He had forgotten it was play
And that's the reason why.
