Electric kiss, the one I got
And if I am correct
Was given me while in the dark
And never did expect.
She lowered down her lips to mine
So very stealthily
No warning given, not a sign
And nothing could I see.
I think that I was only nine
And she of seventeen
The shock I felt down to my toes,
Electric shock I mean.
That only happens once in life
And never comes again
And after many kisses more
Not one like that kiss then.
I doubt that she is still alive
With eight more years than me
Cause now I am past seventy-five.
Her name was Dorothy.
