The Early Bird

We all know the early bird
Catches the worm

But here in Florida, the early bird
Takes on a different term.

Tonight we are in for a special treat
My honey and I, are going out to eat.

C'mon Dear, shake a leg
Step it up another peg.

If you don't hurry
We'll have to pay more.

And I won't enjoy that,
That's for sure.

C'mon please, look like you're alive
You know the early bird ends at five.

Besides, I'm so hungry
I could eat a cow

Can't you please get ready
Right now?

I'm cutting the coupon
Out of the paper

You're takin your time
Is putting me in a fix

Oh, Oh Honey, take it easy
The early doesn't end till six.
