The Loophole's Loophole

A loophole was in his contract.
A loophole his good lawyer knit.
A loophole so skillfully woven,
a loophole it did not look it.

The loophole was well constructed.
The loophole was safe and well lit.
The loophole had cost extra, in fact,
the loophole had cost quite a bit!

His client knew well of the loophole,
the loophole through which he'd fit.
There's nothing as bad as a loophole,
a loophole through which Ye can't get.

Then one day he needed the loophole,
the loophole his good lawyer writ.
Twas then he discovered his loophole,
his loophole filled in like a pit!
