Poem

For my heart and soul

I Love You

If not sufficiently said
Thus be it not said
For partiality implies nonexistence
For without complete and utter devotion
Thus be it not real

Let it be known
That my heart,
The depths of its passion,
The reaches of its love
Are with you always

It can be no other way
For my soul remains a dark chasm
An endless abyss
Without its other half-
You

Be it known
That I, your soulmate, your lover
Will be your shoulder to cry on
Your hand to hold
Your arms to find comfort in
Your friend to confide in

I Love You

Be it sufficiently said
Thus be it said
For completeness implies existence
For with complete and utter devotion
Thus be it real
