ok i am 16, and i my brother is 19, he has a friend named Marc so i have the BIGGEST crush on, i talk to him almost everyday on-line and one day my friend started to slip that i really liked him so he asked me later that night if it was true and i said yes and he told me that if i were just one year older then he would date me because then it would be legal, and now its not...you need parental permission, and my parents love the idea! but he doesnt know that and i cant stop thinking about him and every time i talk to him i fall for him more and more and from what i tell people they all say that they think he likes me back, but i really dont know and i would love to find out! but the thing is im very shy when it comes to talking about certain things because well, he's friends with my brother! ive never liked anyone more and i just wish there was some way to tell him with parent's permission its perfectly for us to date because i dont think he knows that, but i dont want to tell him because that might scare him away and make him think that im too pushy...what do i do?? im going nutts!!

Basically, it would be nice to have a relationship with this guy and date him. Your problem is telling him what you want as you feel it might scare him away. In such cases, I usually advise to go for it and tell him. Things usually work out well and if they don't it's because you weren't fortright in the first place.

Don't be too pushy. you have already told him you like him. he is concerned about your legal status and thats a good sign. try putting across your point in a way which doesnt scare him. my personal advise is wait till its legal.
